Language Development
Children develop language skills at different rates. Language development includes your child understanding more and more of what is said to him. The prime focus at this age is language development. The teacher uses picture books to boost language and communication skills. Reading, singing and talking to the child enhance visual and auditory stimulation. You might hear your child playing with language through rhyming, singing and listening to stories. The primary language of communication being English.
Creativity
Scoobees curriculum is based on monthly theme which enables us to be more creative and innovative in our teaching methodology. Enabling the curriculum to be more effective and vibrant for the little ones. It creates experiences which involve all the senses smell, taste, touch, sight and hearing which helps to stimulate curiosity and brain development. We have introduced field trips, movie sessions, role plays and much more to let the children have loads of fun and learn.
Math Skills
Children are introduced to the basic math concepts of sorting, grouping, matching, sequencing, number counting which help them in developing a strong conceptual foundation for math.
Physical development
The activities designed for this age help children to explore as they build both their fine motor skills and improve coordination. The outdoor area provides ample opportunity for children for gross motor development, running, climbing, sliding.
